Nonfiction Workshop
If you have a piece of nonfiction in progress, from an article or essay to a book-length manuscript, and would like to have the friendly, constructive, and useful criticism of readers before putting it into an editor’s hands, then this workshop is for you. Please bring six copies of your work of up to 25 pages to distribute to your colleagues. Limited to five students. Three 3-hour sessions.
When: Saturdays, Feb 27, Mar 6, 9:00am-noon and Mar 20, 2:00-5:00pm
Where: The Windmill Inn, 4250 N. Campbell Ave.
Cost: $125 (3 sessions)
Instructor: Gregory McNamee is the author or editor of thirty-one books. His photography has appeared in dozens of other books, magazines, web sites, calendars and other publications. He is a consultant in world geography and a contributing editor to Encyclopaedia Britannica and writes for its print and online editions and its blog. More than three thousand of his articles, essays, peoms, short stories, translations and reviews have appeared in the United States and abroad. He operates Sonora Wordworks, an editorial, publishing and media consultant agency based in Tucson.
