THE
LEARNING CURVE Spring 2012 VISUAL ART & WRITING WORKSHOPS
Digital Art Studio Workshop
For students familiar with digital photography editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop Elements. Using existing digital images, plus traditional photographs and artwork with scanners, you will learn how to layer and filter creative content with surprisingly fresh and unpredictable results. Bring an open mind and a sense of wonder. No painting or drawing skill is required. We will focus on the Tools, Menus, Options, Palettes, and Filters in Photoshop Elements that yield the most excitement and innovation with the least amount of stress. All creative people, old or young, are welcome to attend, regardless of equipment. Please bring your photo prints and/or CDs (plus pen and paper for notes), and your laptop computer if you own one (Mac or Windows).
When: Mondays, Mar 26 – Apr 9, 1:00-4:00pm
Where: La Posada, 5900 N. Oracle Rd. (Santa Fe Room)
