Travel Photography in a Digital World
Are you planning on taking a trip but want to
know more about what camera to take? Do you
already have a digital camera and would like to
understand it better before you take off? Want
to improve the quality of the pictures you take
when you travel? Geared towards the novice
digital photographer, this class will examine the
pros and cons of the different types of digital
cameras. Come back from your next trip with a “body of work” instead of a pile of snap shots!
When: Tuesdays, Feb 19 and 26, 9:30am-12:30pm
Where: Renfrow/Nash Studio (driving directions
provided upon registration)
Cost: $75 (2 sessions)
Instructor: Robert Renfrow attended the Kansas
City Art Institute graduating Salutatorian with a
B.F.A. in Photography/Video. He was awarded a
merit Fellowship to attend the University of Arizona
where he received a M.F.A. in photography. He
is co-founder of the non profit organization Art
Research Tours and International Studios, and
taught u niversity level summer classes for many years
at their Florence, Italy studio. He has conducted
photography workshops both nationally and
internationally. Robert is on the teaching Artists
Roster of the Arizona Commission on the Arts,
teaches workshops internationally and teaches for the
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum Art Institute His
works in photography and video have been shown in
numerous exhibitions internationally.
