Experience new destinations without checking your bags, waiting in long lines or going through security. Travel with your eyes closed, sampling the sounds and flavors of faraway places with Tucson’s favorite symphony conductor Bob Bernhardt and award-winning chef Janos Wilder as your tour guides. This interactive journey will feature unique pairings of food and music - including dishes inspired by specific music and music selected to accompany specific dishes. Following the discussion and demonstration, you’ll sample the food and the music in the spectacular surroundings of Janos restaurant. Make your reservation early for this delightful afternoon “getaway”.

Instructors: Bob Bernhardt, a frequent guest conductor for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, is in his sixteenth season as Music Director and Conductor for the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera and serves as Principal Pops Conductor of the Louisville Orchestra.
Janos Wilder was named the top chef in the Southwest by the James Beard Foundation in 2000. His passion for using locally-grown ingredients that are native to the region has propelled Janos to national prominence as a trendsetter and originator in Southwest Cuisine. He is the author of Janos: Recipes and Tales from a Southwest Restaurant and The Great Chiles Rellenos Book.
