Cellist and playwright Harry Clark offers a rare and singular insight into music’s unique power of communication, transformation, and its ability to penetrate the human soul as no other art can or does. In a six-part exploration of music from Bach to the present he’ll examine the connection between composer, performer and listener. Using the structure of J.S. Bach’s Six Suites for Solo Cello and numerous other works, Clark will share his perspective as a musician as he discusses the history of the composers, and the unbreakable bond necessary with audiences for music to thrive, evolve, and remain meaningful.
