Return to a golden moment in American music — the late 1960s and early ’70s — when a tight-knit community of artists forever changed the sound of a nation. From the porches and living rooms of Laurel Canyon came a new blend of folk, rock, and California sunshine that shaped the work of Joni Mitchell, The Mamas and the Papas, Carole King, Jackson Browne, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, and many more. Discover the friendships, collaborations, and creative sparks that fueled a movement — and hear how their music still echoes through our culture today. Each session blends lecture, rare video clips, and live performances from Tucson favorites Sarah Tolar, Katherine Byrnes, and Mindy Ronstadt, bringing the stories and songs of Laurel Canyon to life.
