Fulvia Steffenone started her culinary education in Turin then continued learning from chefs in the northeast of Italy, eventually training with Chef Gualtiero Marchesi – one of the most important chefs in the world - in his restaurant located in Albereta-Locanda in Franciacorta. In 1998 Fulvia founded “La Fufi“, a school of haute cuisine frequented daily by many students from all over Italy and abroad (France, Japan, Netherlands). This experience allowed her to develop her unique personal style. Each day she spent searching for unusual or rare ingredients giving free rein to her imagination yet still remaining anchored in her own national culture. Italian gastronomic traditions and the enhancement of forgotten techniques became a focus for this creative chef. Joining her for this series will be Alfredo Ferrero, wine enthusiast, Italian journalist and writer with a passion for the beauty and culture of Italy.
