Pearce Paul Creasman

Pearce Paul Creasman PhD is Director of the American Center of Oriental Research in Amman, Jordan. He recently served as director of the Egyptian Expedition at the University of Arizona. He is author or co-author of more than fifty scholarly articles and six edited volumes, including Pharaoh’s Land and Beyond: Ancient Egypt and Its Neighbors (2017) and Archaeological Research in the Valley of the Kings and Ancient Thebes (2013). Dr. Creasman leads active fieldwork in Egypt and in Sudan. His most recent archaeological project is directing the excavations at the pyramids and royal necropolis of Nuri, Sudan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
