Instructor: Cynthia Meier and Joseph McGrath are the Co-Founders of The Rogue Theatre. Cynthia received her Ph.D from the University of Arizona in Performance Studies and Joseph is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Drama.

Love, lies and lunacy have long played havoc with human beings and their best-laid plans. William Shakespeare masterfully employed them throughout his work, illustrating his keen understanding of the foibles of human behavior and their potential consequences. Join Shakespearean actors Cynthia Meier and Joe McGrath, as they focus on the themes of love, lies and lunacy in selected plays, using dramatic readings, video illustrations and classroom discussions. Examine scenes from Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Othello, Richard III, Hamlet, King Lear, Macbeth, and The Winter’s Tale and learn more about the tangles we humans can weave.
