Explore the influence of the fine arts on the theater and vice versa in the 16^th – 19^th centuries and consider the cultural context and the exchange of ideas that shaped both disciplines

1. Titian, Tinteretto and Veronese.  The influence of theatre in Late High Renaissance Venice.
2. Rubens Journey to England in the era of Shakespeare.  Baroque Theatricality.in English Art.
3. Heavy is the Head that Wears a Crown. Louis XV and the Versailles Opera. The Triumph of Monarchial Art and Music.
4. Romantic Revival.  19th-century theatrical spaces, including The Palais Garnier in Paris.
