Instructor: Cynthia Meier and Joseph McGrath is Co-Founder and Managing & Artistic Director of The Rogue Theatre. She has directed more than 40 productions at the Rogue and received the Arizona Daily Star Mac Award for her direction of Arcadia and Richard III.

Written near the end of his career, The Tempest is one of Shakespeare’s most fanciful and philosophical plays. Explore the iconic characters of monstrous Caliban and the spirit Ariel, lovers Miranda and Ferdinand, the evil Antonio, and the wizard who manipulates them all—Prospero. We’ll explore the language, the characters, the influences, the derivatives, the costumes, the music, famous productions, and the court of King James. Join us for four afternoons of laughter, awe and learning with the co-founders of the Rogue Theatre.
